How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter the engine power in horsepower (HP)
2. Enter the engine torque in newton-meters (Nm)
3. Enter the vehicle weight in kilograms (kg)
4. Enter the distance to be covered in kilometers (km)
5. Click the "Calculate" button to get the results

Working Principle

The calculator uses a simplified formula to estimate the speed of the vehicle based on engine performance parameters. The speed is calculated as:

Speed (km/h) = (Engine Power * 0.5) / Vehicle Weight * 3.6

Where:

• Engine Power: The power output of the engine in horsepower
• Vehicle Weight: The total weight of the vehicle in kilograms
• 3.6: Conversion factor to convert meters per second (m/s) to kilometers per hour (km/h)

Once the speed is calculated, the time to cover the specified distance is determined using the formula:

Time (hours) = Distance (km) / Speed (km/h)

Example

If you have a J20 vehicle with an engine power of 200 HP, engine torque of 300 Nm, and a vehicle weight of 1500 kg, and you want to calculate the time to cover 100 km:

1. Enter 200 in the Engine Power field
2. Enter 300 in the Engine Torque field
3. Enter 1500 in the Vehicle Weight field
4. Enter 100 in the Distance field
5. Click the "Calculate" button

The calculator will display the estimated speed and time to cover the distance.
