How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter the barometric pressure in hPa in the "Barometric Pressure" field.
2. Enter the temperature in °C in the "Temperature" field.
3. Click the "Calculate" button to compute the altitude.
4. The calculated altitude in meters will be displayed in the "Calculated Altitude" field.

Working Principle

The altitude is calculated using the barometric pressure and temperature. The formula used is based on the barometric formula, which relates pressure to altitude assuming the temperature decreases linearly with altitude.

The formula is as follows:

Altitude = 44330 * (1 - (pressure / 1013.25) ^ (1/5.26))

Where:

• Pressure = Barometric pressure in hPa
• Temperature = Temperature in °C
