Completion Ratio Calculator Calculator Usage Guide

Learn how to use the Completion Ratio Calculator and interpret its results

How to Use This Calculator

  1. Enter your Planned Target in the first input field (e.g., 100 units, 1000 hours, etc.). This is the expected amount to be completed.
  2. Enter your Actual Completion in the second input field (e.g., 85 units, 950 hours, etc.). This is the amount actually completed.
  3. Optionally, enter the Completion Date if you want to track timing alongside the ratio.
  4. Click the Calculate button to compute the completion ratio.
  5. Review the results and status message to assess your performance.

Interpreting the Results

The calculator displays both a decimal ratio and a percentage. A ratio of 1.0 (or 100%) means actual completion exactly matches the planned target. A ratio greater than 1.0 indicates超额完成, while less than 1.0 indicates underperformance.

Practical Applications

  • Project management: Track project progress against milestones
  • Business performance: Measure sales targets, production goals, or customer acquisition
  • Personal productivity: Monitor self-imposed goals and deadlines
  • Financial analysis: Compare budgeted versus actual expenses or revenues

Example Scenarios

Example 1: If you planned to sell 200 products (Planned Target) and actually sold 150 (Actual Completion), the completion ratio is 0.75 (or 75%). This indicates you met 75% of your target.

Example 2: If you planned to complete a task in 10 days (Planned Target) but finished it in 8 days (Actual Completion), the completion ratio is 1.25 (or 125%). This indicates you completed 25% ahead of schedule.
