Calculator Formula

The calculator uses the following formula to estimate the monthly cost:

Monthly Cost = (Days per Week * Daily Rate * 4.33 weeks/month) + Additional Fees

If meals are included, an additional $50 per week is added to the total cost.

Example

If your child attends daycare 5 days a week, the daily rate is $100, and there are no additional fees, the monthly cost would be:

Monthly Cost = (5 * $100 * 4.33) + $0 = $2,165

If meals are included, the additional cost would be:

Additional Cost = 5 * $50 = $250

Total Monthly Cost = $2,165 + $250 = $2,415
