Calculate the total cost of wallpaper for a room by entering the dimensions and price per roll.
Learn how to use the Wallpaper Cost Calculator calculator and its working principles
The calculator uses the following formula to determine the total cost:
Total Cost = (Room Length × Room Width × Wall Height × Number of Walls) / Coverage per Roll × Price per Roll
This formula calculates the total area to be wallpapered and then determines the number of rolls needed based on the coverage per roll. Finally, it multiplies the number of rolls by the price per roll to get the total cost.
For example, if you have a room that is 5 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 3 meters high, and you want to use wallpaper that costs $20 per roll and covers 10 square meters per roll, the total cost would be:
Total Cost = (5 × 4 × 3 × 4) / 10 × 20 = $240
