Calculation Formula

Coverage Area (m²) = Volume (ml) / Application Rate (ml/m²)

Where:
Volume: Total volume of adhesive available
Application Rate: Amount of adhesive applied per square meter
Coverage Area: Total area that can be covered

Adhesive Coverage Calculator Usage Guide

Learn how to use the Adhesive Coverage Calculator and its working principles

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Enter the total volume of adhesive in milliliters (ml).
  2. Enter the viscosity of the adhesive in Pascal-seconds (Pa·s).
  3. Enter the application rate of the adhesive in milliliters per square meter (ml/m²).
  4. Click the "Calculate" button to determine the coverage area.
  5. The coverage area in square meters (m²) will be displayed.

Understanding the Formula

The calculator uses the formula:

Coverage Area (m²) = Volume (ml) / Application Rate (ml/m²)

This formula helps you determine how much area can be covered with a given volume of adhesive when applied at a specific rate.

Example

If you have 1000 ml of adhesive and an application rate of 5 ml/m², the coverage area would be:

1000 ml / 5 ml/m² = 200 m²

This means the adhesive can cover an area of 200 square meters.

Applications

This calculator is useful for:

  • Estimating the amount of adhesive needed for a project.
  • Planning material requirements for construction, woodworking, or other industrial applications.
  • Optimizing adhesive usage to reduce waste and costs.
