How to Use the Calculator

2. Enter the volume of water in liters in the "Volume of Water" field.
3. Click the "Calculate" button to get the time it takes for the water to boil.
4. The result will be displayed in the "Time to Boil" field.

Working Principle

The time it takes for water to boil depends on the altitude and the volume of water. At higher altitudes, the boiling point of water is lower, which means it takes longer to boil the same amount of water. This calculator uses the formula:

Time to boil water = (100 * Volume) / (0.55 * Altitude + 100)

Volume = Volume of water in liters
Altitude = Altitude in meters
