- Enter the quantity of Component 1 in the "Component 1 Quantity (kg)" field.
- Enter the name of Component 2 (e.g., Sand) in the "Component 2 Name" field.
- Enter the quantity of Component 2 in the "Component 2 Quantity (kg)" field.
- Click the "Calculate" button to calculate the mix ratio, total quantity, and component percentages.
- Use the "Reset" button to clear all input fields and start over.
Working Principle
The Mix Ratio Calculator calculates the proportion of two components in a mixture. The calculator displays the mix ratio (e.g., 1:2), total quantity of the mixture, and the percentage of each component in the mixture.
Example Usage
For example, if you are mixing cement and sand for concrete and you want to use 1 kg of cement and 2 kg of sand:
- Enter "Cement" in the "Component 1 Name" field.
- Enter "1" in the "Component 1 Quantity (kg)" field.
- Enter "Sand" in the "Component 2 Name" field.
- Enter "2" in the "Component 2 Quantity (kg)" field.
- Click the "Calculate" button.
The calculator will display the following results:
- Mix Ratio: 1 : 2
- Total Quantity: 3 kg
- Cement Percentage: 33.33%
- Sand Percentage: 66.67%
