Baking Ratio Calculator Calculator Usage Guide

Learn how to use the Baking Ratio Calculator calculator and its working principles

How to Use the Calculator

Enter the amount of one ingredient (Flour, Water, or Fat) in grams. The calculator will automatically calculate the required amounts of the other two ingredients based on the 1:2:3 ratio (Flour:Water:Fat).

Example

If you enter 200g of flour, the calculator will determine that you need 400g of water and 600g of fat to maintain the 1:2:3 ratio.

Working Principle

The calculator uses the following formula to determine the required amounts:

  • Flour = Input Flour * Ratio
  • Water = Input Flour * 2 * Ratio
  • Fat = Input Flour * 3 * Ratio
  • Ratio is determined by the input value of one ingredient.
