How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter the actual work duration in hours in the "Work Duration" field.
2. Enter the target completion time in hours in the "Target Duration" field.
3. Click the "Calculate" button to compute the time efficiency.
4. The calculator will display the time efficiency ratio and provide an efficiency rating.

Understanding the Results

Time Efficiency is calculated as the ratio of work duration to target duration. It indicates how many times the actual work duration is compared to the target duration.

Efficiency Rating

• Below Target (Efficiency < 0.75): The work took longer than expected.
• On Target (0.75 ≤ Efficiency ≤ 1.25): The work was completed as expected.
• Above Target (Efficiency > 1.25): The work was completed more efficiently than expected.

Example

If you worked for 8 hours (Work Duration) and the target was to complete the work in 10 hours (Target Duration):

Time Efficiency = 8 / 10 = 0.8

This would be considered "On Target" as it is between 0.75 and 1.25.
