Working Principle
The calculator uses Ohm's Law and the power formula to calculate electrical power:
- Power (P) = Voltage (V) × Current (I) - When both voltage and current are known
- Power (P) = Voltage² (V²) / Resistance (R) - When voltage and resistance are known
- Power (P) = Current² (I²) × Resistance (R) - When current and resistance are known
Example
If you have a circuit with a voltage of 12V and a current of 2A, the power output would be:
P = 12V × 2A = 24W
