How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter the weight of the fresh pineapple in kilograms in the "Fresh Pineapple Weight" field.
2. Enter the drying percentage in the "Drying Percentage" field. This is the percentage of weight loss during the drying process.
3. Click the "Calculate" button to get the estimated weight of the dried pineapple.
4. The result will be displayed in the "Dried Pineapple Weight" field.

Working Principle

The calculator estimates the weight of dried pineapple by multiplying the initial weight of the fresh pineapple by the factor (1 - drying percentage / 100). This factor represents the remaining weight after accounting for the weight loss during the drying process.

Example

If you have a fresh pineapple weighing 2 kg and the drying percentage is 50%, the estimated weight of the dried pineapple would be:

2 kg * (1 - 50 / 100) = 2 kg * 0.5 = 1 kg
