How to use the calculator
- Enter the length of the first wall in meters
- Enter the length of the second wall in meters
- Enter the angle between the two walls in degrees
- Click the "Calculate" button to compute the corner area
When to use this calculator
- Interior designers calculating materials for corner shelves or decorative elements
- Construction professionals determining space for corner fixtures
- Architects planning corner spaces in building layouts
- Homeowners calculating for corner furniture placement
Formula explanation
The calculator uses the formula: Area = (a × b × sin(θ)) / 2, where:
- a is the length of the first wall
- b is the length of the second wall
- θ is the angle between the walls in radians
Example
If you have two walls measuring 3 meters and 4 meters that meet at a 90-degree angle, the corner area would be:
Area = (3 × 4 × sin(90°)) / 2 = 6 m²
