Sod Coverage Calculator calculator can be used to determine the amount of sod needed to cover a given area.
Learn how to use the Sod Coverage Calculator calculator and its working principles
The calculator works by first calculating the total area to be covered by multiplying the length and width. It then divides this total area by the sod coverage per pallet to determine the number of pallets needed. Since you can't purchase a fraction of a pallet, the calculator rounds up to the nearest whole number using the Math.ceil
function.
If you have an area that is 50 feet long and 30 feet wide, and each pallet covers 250 sq. feet, the calculator will determine that you need 2 pallets to cover the entire area.
