How to Use This Calculator

1. Enter the Scrap Weight in kilograms (kg) of your scrap material.
2. Input the Material Cost per kg - this is the market value of the material per kilogram.
3. Specify the Processing Fee which includes any additional charges for processing the scrap.
4. Click the Calculate button to compute the net scrap value.
5. The calculator will display the net scrap value along with detailed breakdown of material revenue and processing costs.

Working Principle

The calculator works by first calculating the total revenue from selling the scrap material based on its weight and market value. Then, it subtracts the processing fee to determine the net scrap value.

Example

Suppose you have 50 kg of aluminum scrap with a market value of $2.50 per kg, and the processing fee is $15:

• Material Revenue: 50 kg × $2.50/kg = $125.00
• Net Scrap Value: $125.00 - $15.00 = $110.00
