Convert engine RPM to torque (Nm) using engine power (kW) and displacement (cc)
Learn how to use the RPM to Torque Converter calculator and its working principles
The calculator uses the following formula to convert engine power to torque:
Torque (Nm) = (Engine Power (kW) × 9549) / Engine Speed (RPM)
In this calculation, we've assumed a typical engine RPM of 6000 for demonstration purposes. In a real application, you might want to add an input field for RPM.
If an engine has a power of 100 kW and a displacement of 2000 cc, the torque at 6000 RPM would be:
Torque = (100 kW × 9549) / 6000 RPM = 159.15 Nm
