Oxygen Concentration Calculator

This calculator can be used to determine the oxygen concentration in a gas mixture based on the flow rate of the oxygen supply and the total gas flow rate.

Input Parameters

Calculation Results

Calculation Formula

Oxygen Concentration (%) = (Oxygen Flow Rate / Total Gas Flow Rate) × 100

Where:
Oxygen Flow Rate = The flow rate of oxygen supplied (L/min)
Total Gas Flow Rate = The total flow rate of the gas mixture (L/min)

Oxygen Concentration Calculator Usage Guide

Learn how to use the Oxygen Concentration Calculator and its working principles

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Enter the Oxygen Flow Rate in liters per minute (L/min) in the first input field.
  2. Enter the Total Gas Flow Rate in liters per minute (L/min) in the second input field.
  3. Click the "Calculate" button to compute the oxygen concentration.
  4. The result will be displayed in the "Oxygen Concentration (%)" field.

Working Principle

The calculator uses the formula:

Oxygen Concentration (%) = (Oxygen Flow Rate / Total Gas Flow Rate) × 100

This formula calculates the percentage of oxygen in a gas mixture based on the flow rates of the oxygen supply and the total gas flow.

Example

If the oxygen flow rate is 5 L/min and the total gas flow rate is 10 L/min, the oxygen concentration would be:

Concentration = (5 / 10) × 100 = 50%
