Understanding the Formula

The calculator uses the following formula to calculate the interpupillary distance (IPD):

IPD (cm) = (PD (mm) / 10) + Eye Spacing (cm)

This formula converts the pupil distance from millimeters to centimeters and adds it to the eye spacing to get the IPD.
