How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter the total volume of the drug in milliliters (mL) in the "Drug Volume" field.
2. Enter the duration in hours for which the drug will be administered in the "Duration" field.

4. The result will be displayed in mL/hour.

Calculation Formula

The dosage rate is calculated using the following formula:

Dosage Rate (mL/hour) = Drug Volume (mL) / Duration (hours)

Example

If you have 500 mL of medication to be administered over 8 hours, the dosage rate would be:

Dosage Rate = 500 mL / 8 hours = 62.50 mL/hour
