Calculation Formula

Daily Energy Consumption (kWh) = (Total Power (W) * Operating Hours (h)) / 1000

Where:
Total Power (W) = Total power consumption of all devices in watts
Operating Hours (h) = Number of hours the devices are used per day

Electricity Load Calculator Calculator Usage Guide

Learn how to use the Electricity Load Calculator calculator and its working principles

How to Use the Electricity Load Calculator

  1. Enter the number of devices you are calculating for.
  2. Input the total power consumption of these devices in watts.
  3. Specify the number of hours these devices operate per day.
  4. Click the "Calculate" button to get the daily, monthly, and annual energy consumption.

Working Principle

The calculator estimates the energy consumption by multiplying the total power of the devices by the number of hours they are used per day and then converting the result from watts to kilowatt-hours (kWh), which is the standard unit for measuring electricity consumption.

Example

If you have 5 devices that consume a total of 1000 watts and operate for 4 hours a day, the calculator will show:

  • Daily Energy Consumption: 4 kWh
  • Monthly Energy Consumption: 120 kWh
  • Annual Energy Consumption: 1460 kWh
