How to Use This Calculator

                    - Enter the total distance of your flight in kilometers in the "Flight Distance" field.

                    - Enter the average speed of the aircraft in kilometers per hour in the "Average Speed" field.

                    - Click the "Calculate" button to compute the flight length.

                    - The calculator will display the flight length in hours (with two decimal places) and in hours and minutes format.

                Understanding the Formula
The calculator uses the basic formula:
Flight Length (hours) = Flight Distance (km) ÷ Average Speed (km/h)
This formula gives you the time required to complete the flight based on the given distance and speed.

                Example
If a flight is 3,500 kilometers long and the aircraft flies at an average speed of 500 km/h, the calculation would be:
                Flight Length = 3,500 km ÷ 500 km/h = 7 hours

                Practical Applications

                    - Estimating flight duration for travel planning

                    - Comparing flight times for different routes

                    - Understanding aircraft performance at different speeds

                    - Assisting with fuel consumption calculations (as flight time affects fuel burn)

                Notes
This calculator provides a simplified estimation of flight length. Actual flight times may vary due to factors such as:

                    - Wind conditions (headwinds and tailwinds)

                    - Aircraft climb and descent phases

                    - Flight altitude variations

                    - Air traffic control and routing decisions

                    - Turnaround time at destinations
