How to Use the Calculator

Understanding the Gating Ratio

The gating ratio is calculated by dividing the number of open gates by the number of closed gates. This ratio helps in assessing the efficiency of gate operations. A higher ratio indicates more open gates relative to closed gates, which might suggest better access or higher demand.

Example

If there are 10 open gates and 5 closed gates, the gating ratio would be 2.0. This means there are twice as many open gates as closed gates.
