How to Use the Calculator

1. Enter your reading speed in words per minute (WPM) in the first input field. For example, if you can read 300 words per minute, enter 300.
2. Enter the average number of words per page in the second input field. This can vary depending on the type of book or text, but a common estimate is around 250 words per page. For example, enter 250.
3. Click the "Calculate" button. The calculator will display the number of pages you can read per hour based on your reading speed and the average words per page.
4. If you want to start over, click the "Reset" button to clear all input fields.

Understanding the Formula

The calculator uses the following formula to determine the number of pages read per hour:

Pages per hour = Reading Speed (WPM) / Average Words per Page

This formula assumes that you read at a constant speed throughout the hour and that each page contains the average number of words you specified.

Example

Suppose you can read 300 words per minute and the average book you read has 250 words per page. The calculation would be:

300 WPM / 250 words/page = 1.2 pages per hour

This means you could read 1.2 pages in one hour under these conditions.
