Understanding the Severity Rate (IMEH)

The Severity Rate (IMEH) is a measure used to quantify the frequency and severity of workplace incidents. It is calculated by multiplying the number of incidents by one million and then dividing by the total exposure hours. A lower IMEH indicates better safety performance.
