This calculator determines the molarity of a solution based on moles of solute and volume of solution.
Learn how to use the Molarity Calculator Equation calculator and its working principles
Molarity (M) is a measure of the concentration of a solution, defined as the number of moles of solute per liter of solution. It is expressed in units of moles per liter (mol/L) or molar.
If you dissolve 0.5 moles of NaCl in 2 liters of water, the molarity of the solution would be:
M = 0.5 mol / 2 L = 0.25 M
M = n/V
