How to Use the Calculator

Fabric Type Options

Working Principle

The calculator uses the formula: Fabric Needed = Boat Length × Boat Width × Multiplier. The multiplier adjusts based on the fabric type to account for different material properties and requirements.

Example

If you have a boat that is 30 feet long and 10 feet wide and are using standard fabric, the calculation would be:

30 ft × 10 ft × 1.0 = 300 sq ft of fabric.
