How to Use the Calculator
- Enter the flow rate of the radiator in liters per minute (L/min).
- Enter the supply temperature of the water in degrees Celsius (°C).
- Enter the return temperature of the water in degrees Celsius (°C).
- Click the "Calculate" button to calculate the heat output of the radiator.
- The result will be displayed in watts (W).
Working Principle
The heat output of a radiator is calculated using the formula Q = 3600 * G * Cp * (ΔT), where:
- Q is the heat output in watts (W).
- G is the flow rate in liters per minute (L/min).
- Cp is the specific heat capacity of water, which is approximately 4186 J/kg·K.
- ΔT is the temperature difference between the supply and return temperatures in degrees Celsius (°C).
