Understanding the Formula

The calculator uses the following formula to calculate the total cost of fuel:

Total Cost = Distance × Efficiency × Fuel Price

For example, if you plan to travel 300 kilometers in a car that averages 8 km/L and fuel costs €1.50 per liter, the total cost would be:

300 km × 8 km/L × €1.50/L = €360.00
