Calculate your age in years, months, days, and seconds based on your birthdate
Learn how to use the Age Calculator and understand age calculation principles
The calculator uses the following formulas to determine your age:
Years = Current Year - Birth Year
Months = Current Month - Birth Month
Days = Current Day - Birth Day
Seconds = Total time difference in seconds between current date and birthdate
When the current month/day is less than the birth month/day, the months/years are adjusted accordingly. For example, if your birthdate is March 15 and today is January 10, your age would be 29 years, 2 months, and 5 days.
The calculator calculates the exact time difference between your birthdate and the current date. It then converts this time difference into years, months, days, and seconds for a precise age measurement. This is more accurate than simply calculating years between birthdate and current date, especially when your birthday hasn't occurred yet in the current year.
